Care Walk 2010
Community Care’s Helen Robinson, corporate sponsor Graham Bashford of Adelaide Place Retirement Community, and Rotary Club of Lindsay president Dave Guilbault were among the participants in the Care Walk in support of Community Care.
Organizers of the Care Walk in support of Community Care are thrilled to report that through pledges in support of walkers and corporate sponsorship, the event held on Aug. 28 raised $6,500.

The weather was perfect for the walk on the Rotary Trail in Lindsay, as close to 30 people took part in the trek. Participants and volunteers were treated to lunch, refreshments and musical entertainment. The Care Walk was one of the agency’s 25th anniversary events being staged throughout 2010-11. The Silver Anniversary “celebration of volunteers” is supported by New Horizons for Seniors.
